Humera Khan

Humera Khan is the President and co-founder of Muflehun and a subject matter expert in preventing, countering, and mitigating extremist violence and hate. She has led policy and program design at Muflehun since its founding. Most recently, she designed new methodologies to apply explainable machine learning for the primary prevention of targeted violence, terrorism, and gun violence in USA and Canada, as part of the Community Resilience Early Warning System (CREWS) platform.

Previously, Humera was the Strategic Advisor to the Assistant-Secretary General of the United Nations Security Council Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate (CTED), and also managed the Countering Violent Extremism & Countering Terrorist Narratives portfolio. Humera has been a co-investigator for a Department of Defense MINERVA Research Initiative on the use of "Mobilizing Media" by terrorist organizations.

With over two decades of global experience in policy advisory and strategy planning, her subject matter expertise is sought by multiple agencies and organizations in the United States and around the world She has testified before the US Congress about Muflehun's work and has received the FBI Director's Community Leadership Award.

Tony McAleer

Tony McAleer spent 15 years in the white supremacist and neo-nazi movements, starting as a skinhead and evolving to leadership positions. He was instrumental in ushering in the internet by building one of the first white supremacist websites in the mid-90's.

Tony's expertise is gleaned from receiving over one thousand hours of one-on-one and group counseling to understand his own process. Tony has spent countless hours coaching and mentoring change in others and is a certified Life Coach.

Since leaving the white supremacist and neo-nazi movements, Tony has worked closely informing law enforcement and the government, including Attorney Generals and senior staff at the Department of Homeland Security.

Tony testified before Congress and was at the Paris Summit for the Christchurch Call with the Prime Minister of New Zealand.

He is the Author of The Cure For Hate: A Former White Supremacist's Journey from Violent Extremism to Radical Compassion and featured in the film.
